The North Bridge Story

Our Story

The idea for North Bridge Fellowship originated more than six years ago, when God began developing in Craig Knisley a vision to start a healthy, relevant, high-impact ministry that makes a difference in the community and expands God's Kingdom. To prepare for this ministry, Craig then spent a year at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Fellowship Associates trains 3-5 seminary graduates each year through their Church Planting Leadership Residency Program. The residents are trained in leadership and church planting to prepare them to start and sustain healthy churches that will influence their community for Christ.

North Bridge Timeline

May 2006 - Craig and Niki Knisley move to Little Rock, AR to participate in the Church Planting Leadership Residency at Fellowship Bible Church

Summer 2007 - Knisleys and Stecs move to northeastern Cincinnati to begin planting North Bridge

September 23, 2007 - North Bridge holds first Launch Group meeting at the YMCA Express in Landen. 30 adults and 18 children attend.

February 17, 2008 - North Bridge holds first Preview Service in the cafeteria at Little Miami High School with 94 people in attendance.

April 6 , 2008 - Faith Church in Milford, OH hosts a special commissioning time for North Bridge during their worship services as we prepare to start weekly services on 4/13.

April 13 , 2008 - North Bridge launches its weekly public worship services at Little Miami High School - 240 people attend!!!
